Synopsis
In MS PowerBI, I make sure users can have the ability to ask questions by simply typing texts and charts automatically get generated based off it, which is a great AI. It was also a very memorable performance Power BI put on. I uploaded the Excel file, Power BI’s Quick Insight feature in dashboards in the Power BI service generated incredible insights on the data, the patterns in data, dozens of charts and summaries automatically generated. Just like magic Behind the scenes, it’s powered in what’s known in the AI world, neural networks. I would have manually created dashboards in Tableau for the business users to explore and try different scenarios. Them spending a very long time to try to find actionable insights, almost all what Power BI AI generated they would never discover.
DAX as well could be aplenty and be all over the place, but I put them in a centralized location. I create a table and place all DAX formulas there, so that on the right side of the user interface, it lists first a section where all DAX formulas are housed then the tables of the dataset. A much more organized and coherent manner and DAX fields at a glance.
I've meaning to take stronger Power BI credentials at a testing center, but they had been closed during the pandemic and I wouldn't take the risk of contracting the virus in the epicenter, NYC, even after opening and the virus subsided. Especially when I have an elderly mother to take care of and couldn't risk her getting transmitted the virus should I get it. But will take them soon now that NYC seem to be out of the woodwork and also life must go on!
