Synopsis
I would say that in the management aspect of things, project management obviously meant something to me because I am certified on it. PMP can be as big as life. Who wouldn’t want a piece of that? Many can feel on top of the world.
But there was a wrinkle. My former boss, a PMP, knew better than most. I know that for a fact. He says, “It’s for everyone. It’s basically a general management program. Easy to grasp concepts. No technical questions on the exam. You’re too smart for that.”
“That’s good of you to say", I said. "It means a lot to me, it really does."”
But I was a professional on a mission. In the heart of the technology world, it could have some use.
So I thought better of it. I have a passion for technology. To get everything right every step of the way, the smart money they say is on Project+. Project Management specialized in technology.
That’s what I went for and took the exam years ago. There you go -
Now I’ve gotten to the heart of management and technology and the route to a quiet, comfortable life for everyone. Win-win!
Note: Certification transcripts can be emailed as well to prospective employers should there be site permission issues. Works best in Chrome.
